Parquet flooring that resembles the deck of a ship is, of course, suitable for very different areas in a house or apartment. However, smaller rooms in particular benefit from a floor that resembles the deck of a ship. Rustic planks more than 2 meters long can also be installed here, but due to the slightly lower price, shiplap flooring seems to be a better choice.

The individual segments of this parquet provide great variety and dynamics even in a not very large area:

Here, dark brown boards follow slightly lighter ones, rustic ones follow more harmonious areas, or matte ones follow slightly glossy ones.

Ship flooring usually copes without grout or bevel on the sides, the individual parquet boards lie directly next to each other without transition. This makes the surface of the parquet particularly homogeneous, and the question of installation direction is also of secondary importance here - what you like is allowed!
